Now this energy boosting drink, once available to only elite athletes is now available to anyone who wants a sustained healthy energy boost.

The key ingredient in FRS is Quercetin. (pronounced: KWAIR-suh-ten)
Quercetin is a natural antioxidant found in the skins of apples, blueberries, and onions. It protects the adrenaline that your body naturally creates to give you energy for small daily tasks like staying awake at work and big events like running a marathon.

FRS also contains Green Tea Catechins and Vitamins
Catechins have strong antioxidant properties.
And 100% or more of the Recommended Daily Intake of vitamins:

  • B1

  • B6
  • B12
  • C
  • E

Vitamins C and E work as antioxidants and the B vitamins are known to help boost mood and increase energy levels.

i like energy drinks but they are unhealthy. so vitamin glaceau energy is a bit healthier
but does it give off the same ammount of energy?
10 pts……

: )

No, it doesn't have tons of caffeine, massive amounts of ginseng or any of that other stuff. Just sugar water with vitamins and some salt. Great for a hangover, but not so much for energy like Monster or Red Bull.

is vitamin energy okay to give a 13 year old? and also, have you read "Ana's story?

ana's story by Jenna bush. do you think it is appropriate for a 13 year old? and she likes vitamin water and i was wondering if vitamin energy is okay?

energy drinks or energy boosters should not be given to younger kids. its not healthy. sometimes excessive amounts of caffeine can stunt growth of not only height, but organs.
i read Ana's story when I was 13. it wasn't that bad, from what I can remember lol that was 5 years ago.

What over-the-counter vitamin is best for better energy?

October 27, 2008 by admin

I am consistently lethargic. It could be meds I am taking. It could be the lay off of work (i'm a teacher) but I want to know if there is any energy boosting vitamins you recommend. My diet has not changed.

A good quality multi-vitamin, or better still something like Korean Ginseng or Ginko Biloba. Drink plenty of water and go for brisk walks. It might be an idea to check your bloods at the doctors, make sure all is ok. You could be anaemic.

I Plan To Drink the "1st Step Energy" vitamin supplement but it has trace minerals. Are these dangerous?

October 25, 2008 by admin

A 1 ounce sample of the "1 Step Energy" vitamin supplememnt contains less than 1/2 microgram of the following trace minerals:

Trace Minerals: Bismuth, Boron, Bromide, Cerium, Cesium, Chloride, Cobalt, Copper, Dysprosium, Erbium, Europium, Fluoride, Gadolinium, Gallium, Germanium, Gold, Hafnium, Holmium, Indium, Iridium, Kjeldhal, Nitrogen, Lanthanum, Lithium, Molybdenum, Neodymium, Nickel, Niobium, Platinum, Praseodymium, Rhenium, Rhodium, Rubidium, Samarium, Scandium, Silicon, Silver, Strontium, Tantalum, Tellurium, Terbium, Thullium, Tin, Titanium, Tungsten, Vanadium, Yiterbium, Zirconium.

I am wondering if any of the above trace minerals should stop me from drinking this drink because of health issues related to the mineral. I plan to drink this after every workout. Are the above minerals safe? Does anyone drink this "1st Step Energy?"

I cannot tell you specifically about each of the minerals but in general trace minerals are known to be very good for you and strongly enhance and support the immune system. Some of them such as boron and selenium are vital for the proper functioning of our organs. Here is a website where you might find more about the particular trace minerals and their value in the vitamin supplement you are taking. http://www.traceminerals.com/
